One hostname, standard protocols

Mailbux speaks the protocols your language already has a library for. There is nothing Mailbux-specific to install: point any client, framework or agent at the settings below and authenticate as the mailbox.

Credentials

The username is the full email address and the password is that mailbox password. For anything unattended -- a script, a CI job, an AI agent -- issue a separate app password from the dashboard instead, so you can revoke it without changing the mailbox password. IMAP and POP3 unlock on paid plans.

Managing the account itself

Sending and receiving is the protocol side above. Listing mailboxes and domains, adding addresses and reading DNS records is the REST API, and it lives on the dashboard host. Its reference is generated from the live route table, so it can never drift.
